Of all things, I forgot to take my laptop’s power supply cord with me, leaving me with only enough battery life for one commute. I could have written a little during the commute home, but decided to play “Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2″ instead. I’m well within my writing goals, so I can do that.
For this chapter, I had a lot of ideas that never really went into it. There’s a lot of room for improvement. When I rewrite these chapters after November, I want to add a lot of life and individual personality to these one-chapter characters.
As for overall story goes, this chapter shows the limitation of using too much, too powerful magic.
NaNoWriMo Goals
With a commute goal of 1,250 and a daily goal of 2,500, my word count of 1,619 is a win and a loss as it stands as my single goal for the day.
My goal for the end of day four is 5,000 words (two planned writing days). By the end of day four, I’m at 9,103, a number that would be over 10,000, and 20% of the way toward my goal (wow!) if I had written on the commute home (even with limited battery life).
Tomorrow is another day.
