At 1,033 words, it’s clear that I cut this one short.
With another 15 minutes available to write, nowhere else for this chapter to go (this is really just a continuation of the prior chapter), and a touch of sleepiness, I decided to set the stage for the next chapter, then end it there. The dream was running a little long considering it started with Sarah leaving her house and walking to the park (not that far of a walk from her home, dream or not). There may be longer dreams waiting for the magical two, with the power of their jewels to guide them, but this is enough for this dream, because whatever happens next may take a fair length of time in itself.
