At 1,033 words, it’s clear that I cut this one short.
-
With this evening’s 1,307 words, that’s 2,812 words written. I had at least an extra 15 or 20 minutes when I could have been writing, but there was no where else for this chapter to go. I’d already posted this morning’s chapter from work, so I decided against adding to it. I also decided against starting the next chapter, as I need to organize where I want things to go next. My planned events are starting to stretch themselves out (which is a good thing), so the should last me a good week.
-
Another morning writing session ends before it should have. Some mornings, the commute to work just isn’t long enough.
-
Wow, what do I say after writing 2,109 words, and that following an earier session of 1,602 words?
-
These 1,602 words just flowed one after another. This is a transition between arc one and arc two. Arc two is where a lot of the story begins to take place, so it’s only natural for it to start out easy to write.
-
I’d say I more or less wrote what I was going for with this chapter. At 1,228 words, it barely fails to meet my commute goal, and I’ve missed my daily goal. I expected to have more than this written, so I’ll have to see if I can find the time to write a chapter to transition this arc into the next over the weekend. That should be a good 2,500 words right there, split over one or two chapters.
-
This chapter didn’t meet my word count goal, nor did it come out as well as I had hoped.
-
Magical girl in the Wild West. It’s something I’ve wanted to try out for a while. I’m not satisfied with the overall result, but that’s because this is just the first draft.
-
The originally planned idea for this chapter’s end actually changed a little at the last moment. Also, the word count came out higher than I expected it would be before I started writing.
-
This chapter has been the easiest to write yet. I didn’t get caught thinking about what to follow up with even once. And yet it comes out as the shortest? Obivously there is much room to add to it.
