AM words: 1,026. Under goal. There were some things in the vanpool that made it hard to work. If I keep up at this rate, I won’t reach 50,000 before Monday, or later. There’s a lot of room for increasing the length of the chapter by putting in a real confrontation between Clover and Melilot. PM words: 1,748. A bit better. Total words: 2,774.
Tomorrow marks the first day of NaNoWriMo. Am I ready?
Being in the magical girl genre, “Dream Clover” is set to take as much as possible from the clichés set by other magical girl series. Or avoid them as much as possible. I started plotting out the characters, stories, and “magical girl elements” without giving much thought to clichés. Instead, I’m looking at clichés used and avoided as an after-thought.
I’ve decided that this will be the first year I try out NaNoWriMo.
